    Our Heroes

    Who We Serve

From deployed troops serving overseas to the first responders protecting our neighborhoods, we serve those who serve us.

    The People Behind the Mission

    Every Package Tells a Story

We serve four distinct communities, each with unique needs and challenges. Our programs are tailored to meet them where they are.

    Deployed Troops

    Deployed Troops

Every year thousands of service members are deployed around the world, separated from family, friends, and the comforts of home. We support Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Guardians, Coast Guardsmen and National Guardsmen serving at home and abroad with our care packages and other meaningful acts of gratitude.

    Veterans

    Veterans

Operation Gratitude and our dedicated team of volunteers honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. Through our efforts, we ensure that their sacrifices are recognized and deeply appreciated. We support veterans of all generations through meaningful engagement opportunities and care packages, reminding them that their service matters and will never be forgotten.

    First Responders

    First Responders

At Operation Gratitude, we know there are millions of first responders serving right here at home. We are on a mission to say "thank you" to the men and women who serve as law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs in communities nationwide. Our meaningful acts of community support and gratitude filled care packages to departments across the U.S. gives volunteers the opportunity to thank their local first responders who keep them safe everyday.

    Military Families

    Military Families

We support our Military families through our Battalion Buddy Program. Our Battalion Buddy bears are lovingly hand-stuffed by Volunteers and provided to the children of deployed service members. The cuddly Battalion Buddies wear tags that say "I'm your Battalion Buddy and I'm here to keep you company while your mom or dad is away. I'm so excited to join your family!" These special bears are a reminder that a grateful nation stands with them during tough times. As you know, our service members work long hours and train outside of deployments that take them away from their families. For this reason and the generosity of our donors, we have changed our program requirements to include ALL military children. Not just the ones experiencing a deployment.

Receiving a care package from Operation Gratitude reminded me that people back home care. That single box meant more than anyone could know.
